Immediate life-saving measures

Premises: none

Contents:

This course is for all people who want to fulfill the qualifications to acquire a driving license.

During this eight hour course you will learn the methods for dealing with:

• unconsciousness

• headinjuries 

• failure or erratic respiration

• cardiovascular collapse

• life-threatening haermorrhages

• shock

This training cerificate is valid for two years and could be used for the driving license categories 

“A, A1, B, L, M and T”.

First Aid

Premises: none

Contents:

This course is for all people who want to fulfil the qualifications to acquire a driving license or for all people who want to receive a certificate in First Aid for example for a trainer certificate.

During this sixteen hour course you will learn the methods for dealing with :

•  unconsciousness

• traffic / motorbike accidents

• headinjuries

• failure or erratic respiration

• cardiovascular collapse

• electrical accidents

• wounds

• shock

• Injuries or diseases of the abdomen and thorax

• Fractures

• Burns and scalds

• Contamination and acid burns

This training cerificate is valid for two years and could be used for the driving license categories “A,A1,B,L,M,T,C,C1,D and D1”.

First Aid for children

Premises: none

Contents:

This course is for parents and grandparents who want to be prepared for all contingencies with their children.

During this ten hour course you will learn the methods for dealing with:

• unconsciousness

• spasms due to infection or fever

• headinjuries

• failure or erratic respiration

• cardiovascular collapse

• electrical accidents

• wounds  

• shock  

• Injuries or diseases of the abdomen and thorax

• Fractures Injuries or diseases of the abdomen and thorax

• Burns and scalds

• Contamination and acid burns  

You also learn:

• to monitor sick children

• to take the temperature of babies and infants

Additional you will have the possibility to speak to a paediatrician about miscellaneous children’s diseases and obtain information about cot death (SID).

This training certificate cannot be used for obtaining a driving license.

First Aid Training

Premises: First Aid course, that should not be older than two years

Contents:

This course is for all people who have already attended a first aid course and want to refresh and increase their knowledge.

During this eight hour course the most important first aid methods will be revised:

• unconsciousness

• failure or erratic respiration

• cardiovascular collapse

• shock

The second part of this course will be decided by the participants.  

For example: Firefighters can place their focuson burns or rescue and transport.  

Shooting clubs can learn more about bullet wounds.

As you can see from the name of this course the third part is a lot more practical.
