This
year's first-aid contest took place in Augustdorf, near Detmold.
Unfortunately,
the rain didn't stop that day. The five groups who started had to solve five
tasks each. Apart from the four main tasks including medical services,
supplying, technical capabilities and knowledge about the Red Cross, there
was a task combining technical and support capabilities.In this task, the
groups had to change a car tire full of young people and simultaneously look
after the youngsters.
This
year Blomberg improved from last year's 5th to 3rd
rank. Congratulations to the Red Cross unit from Lemgo for winning the
competition and also special thanks to the Red Cross Unit of Augustdorf for
organising the contest.
